 Your animal is very important to us, we would like to assure you that every effort will be made to make your pet’s grooming experience as safe and pleasant as possible. Safety comes first for everyone, people as well as the Pet's, during your pets visit. 

The Following services are provided at DinoSudsNScissors, Grooming, Daycare, Boarding, and Training. 

Accidents: Your pet’s safety and comfort are our number one priority. There is always the possibility an accident may occur. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified of the accident at pet pick up. If it is serious, and the owner is not on-site, we will seek immediate veterinary care for your pet. Services may expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after Services. All medical expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the animal's owner upon signing this agreement. This release gives Dino Suds N Scissors full authorization to seek medical treatment from the nearest veterinarian in the case of any medical emergencies while in our care. All veterinarian costs and expenses will be the sole responsibility of the animal's owner. Grooming equipment is sharp, pets are often on raised platforms for bathing and grooming. Even though we take great care in all situations possible, problems may occur including but not limited to the health of the pet's known and unknown conditions, clipper burn, brush burn, cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, broken bones, fights and or death in rare cases. In most cases an accident may occur when a pet is wiggling, moving, excited jumping, or trying to jump off the table or when dogs are playing too rough or excited. Every practical effort will be made to ensure the safety of your pet to ensure a safe visit. Pets are often excited when on the grooming table and their owner walks in prematurely for pick up and the pet is not finished, because of this and the safety of the pet we encourage not coming early to check and see if your pet is done, we will contact you as soon as the grooming is complete. Owners that show up early for pick up then force us to stop the grooming early for safety concerns, the pet at this time will now be considered finished and will be sent home with the full cost of the services due. 

Current Vaccinations: Pets shall be up to date on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. Proof of vaccinations must be given prior to your grooming, daycare, boarding, and training appointments. Please bring copies of current vaccination records or email them to records@dinosudsnscissors.com 

Dangerous or Aggressive Animals Refusal of Service: Dino Suds N Scissors has the right to refuse any services at any time. If your animal is too stressed or becomes dangerous during their visit, we hold the right to refuse services, stop services, or cancel services at any time before, during, or after their visit and clients will be charged accordingly. 

Use of Muzzles: Muzzling does not harm your dog and protects both the pets and the staff. In some cases, muzzling may even calm a stressed animal, allowing the grooming process to continue. If an animal still acts in a way that is dangerous, we have the right to stop services at any time and a service fee or the appointment fee will be collected. We do not muzzle unless your pet gives us a reason to. Other methods are used to calm your pet, muzzling is a last resort. Pet’s that require a muzzle will not be permitted to stay for daycare or boarding services. 

Matted Coats: Pets with severely matted coats require extra attention. Mats in a pet’s coat grow tight and can ultimately damage and tear the skin. We do not want to cause serious or undue stress to your pet and will NOT continually de-matt your pet for you. Matts can be very difficult to remove and may require the pet to be shaved. When necessary, removing a matted coat includes the risk of clipper burn, brush burn, nicks, cuts and or abrasions due to warts, moles, skin folds, foxtails, etc.., trapped in the matting. Heavy matting can also trap moisture and or urine near the pet’s skin giving the potential for fungus, mold, parasites and or bacteria to grow causing skin irritations or more serious health problems. After- effects of matt removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions and failure of the hair to regrow. In some cases, pets may also exhibit brief behavioral changes. Prevention is the best defense by scheduling regular grooming appointments, every 4-8 weeks. If your pet needs to be shaved or brushed to remove matting, by signing below, you acknowledge that you agree to this procedure, and any risk. There will be an additional charge for this process: it is time consuming and causes extra wear and tear on grooming equipment. The additional charge may be estimated by the groomer prior to appointment, shaving matt fee's typical $5-$40. Brushing matt fee is $1 per minute spent brushing. We may attempt to call you if your pet must be shaved due to matting. If we are unable to reach you in a timely manner, we will do what we deem safest in our opinion for your pet’s health and wellbeing. 

Parasites: If parasites are found on your pet before or during their visit will be sent home with full grooming fees as if the groom were finished or during any of our other services that we provide. A cleaning fee for the establishment will be collected as parasites require an unscheduled deep cleaning and a pest control company to come out and spray the facility. A follow up with your regular veterinarian is suggested for treatment. Flea and tick baths are available for preventative care ONLY. Please note that parasites are not only a health hazard to our establishment but also the other pets in care and can sometimes pose a threat to humans as well. The current cleaning fee is $100 per occurrence and may be subject to change without notice. 

Cancellations/ No Call, No Show: Because we book on an scheduled basis and cancellations can leave an empty block in the schedule that could have otherwise been used by another customer, we ask that any salon cancellations are made at least 48 business hours in advance to avoid fees or loss of deposit. First missed appointment is a $30 fee per dog, subsequent missed appointments will be charged 50% of the full price of the scheduled appointment(s). Prices are non-negotiable and payment is due at time of pick-up. We accept Card and Cash NO checks. No refunds on any services rendered. 

Deposits: We require all clients to provide a non-refundable deposit for their appointments. Grooming deposit amounts vary, standard $30 deposit-everyone pays late or no-call/ no-show and repeat offenders are subject to 50% - 100% of their services and deposits are non-refundable. Daycare deposit will be 50% of services scheduled/ package purchased. late or no-call/ no-show and repeat offenders are subject to 50% - 100% of their services and deposits are non-refundable. Boarding deposit will be the standard $30 deposit-everyone pays and late or no-call/ no-show repeat offenders are subject to 50% - 100% of their services/ days scheduled and deposits are non-refundable. Deposits will go towards your pet’s services, with any remaining balance due at your pet's pick up. 

Late appointments: Late arrivals 5 minutes past their scheduled time may be sent home without services with deposit surrendered and the appointment rescheduled. Late fees if services proceed are at a penalty rate of $1 per minute. When a client is late it has a chain reaction that sets all the other appointments behind. 

Pet Pick Up: Owners are given 1 hour from the time of notice (phone call, text or email) of completion of services to pick up their pet(s) unless previously discussed before the appointment and a time is agreed upon. Owners are subject to a daycare fee of $26 per pet at our discretion past the 1 hour from notice of completion of services. Owners that are not responding to attempts made for the pet(s) pick up, by end of day within reason, multiple reasonable failed attempts to have the pet(s) picked up will have the said pet(s) will be placed into our boarding services and will not be able to be picked up until the following business day during normal business hours of operation. Owners that do not pick their pet up that following day are subject to having their pet(s) surrendered to the local authority, animal control, having jurisdiction over the area the services were rendered (Uintah County Animal Shelter), Dino Suds N Scissors will not be responsible for the costs associated with the pet(s) pick up from the above mentioned local authority having jurisdiction and all service fees due to DinoSudsNScissors will be due in full and collected. 

Satisfaction: Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy for any reason, and would like something adjusted on your pet’s groom, we will be happy to make any adjustments when you pick-up your pet from his/her appointment. Once, however, you take your pet home from the appointment, any return visits will be treated as a new appointment and the client will be charged a grooming fee. 

Photo & Video: This release authorizes that we may use your pet's name and photo/ video in any form or format, for use at any time, in any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials, for client file, company website, social media Facebook, and Google etc.. All photos and videos taken are the property of Dino Suds N Scissors Inc. 

SMS Text Messaging, Phone Calls and Email: I agree to receive automated and non-automated communications for non-marketing "appointment reminders,pet pick-ups, balances due etc." and marketing related communications "promotional ads, surveys, reviews policy changes etc." Pricing: Prices are subject to change without notice, although we try to keep our clients up to date on our changes. We always want to be able to provide both you and your pet the best possible service using only top-quality products and equipment, combined with our continued education in the pet industry. We will have at least an annual price increase to keep up with current economic conditions. 

Duty To Disclose: I agree to disclose any and all information regarding my pet’s known health, illness, injuries, medical conditions, habits and behavior that may pose a threat or damage to any other pet, staff member, the facility or DinoSudsNScissors Inc. I agree that I am the rightful owner or caretaker of the pet(s). Unless otherwise disclosed to dino suds n scissors my pet is housebroken, is not prone to chewing, scratching, digging or any other destructive behavior. My pet has never attacked, bitten, or shown any signs of aggression to any other pet or towards any human in the past and I agree to disclose any and all information to DinoSudsNScissors if my pet has done any of the above mentioned. 

Daycare & Boarding: I acknowledge that my pet will be in the company of other animals and will regularly interact with other pet’s during their stay. I acknowledge that during the day my pet will participate in group activities, during play with other pet’s I understand that nicks, scratches, bites, and or sprains may happen as a result of play. During boarding services “after group play” my pet will spend their time alone separated from other pets (unless from the same household) during the evenings, feeding, quiet times, staff breaks, and afterhours. I understand that my pet(s) may be left unattended (separated in a kennel, crate, room or cage) for up to 8-10 hours, typically overnight or until shift change. 

Terms of Agreement: By signing these terms of service/contract you (or your agent) agree to hold Dino Suds N Scissors Inc, its owners, operators, contractors, and employees harmless from all damage, loss of life, or claim arising from any condition or injury of the undersigned pet(s), whether known or unknown to Dino Suds N Scissors Inc. It is also further understood and agreed the terms of this agreement can change at any time, without notice and will overwrite all prior signed contracts or releases. It is further understood this clause applies to all pet services. I have fully read and agree to the policies of Dino Suds N Scissors Inc. I have reviewed this Service Contract for accuracy and understand the contents of this contract. I affirm that I am the rightful legal owner of the dog(s), cat(s) for which services are being rendered. I authorize this signed contract to be valid approval for future services, permitting to accept website, telephone, text (SMS) or email reservations for service without additional signed contracts or written authorization. I understand that pricing is subject to change. I have read and agreed to the above.
